Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in electrical engineering design, installation or maintenance.
• Proficient with CAD and ETAP electrical design software.
• Valid Electrical Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Operator certification.
• Proficient in operating electrical measuring instruments (multimeters, Meggers, clamp meters).
• Able to read and develop single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of installation and maintenance of motors, electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, inverters, and gensets.
• Able to perform pre-commissioning checks and inspections.

Job description

Monitoring the installation of switchgear, MCCs, transformers, cables and cable trays, inverters, multi-drive systems, grounding systems, lightning protection systems, and general lighting.

Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical installation activities and project progress.

Coordinating with contractors, mechanical, civil, and HSE teams regarding electrical works and site activities.

Ensuring that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with applicable SOPs, safety procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in electrical engineering design, installation or maintenance.

Strong proficiency with electrical design software including CAD, ETAP or similar tools.

Possess a valid Electrical Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Operator certification.

Proficient in operating electrical measuring instruments, including multimeters, insulation resistance testers (Meggers), and clamp meters.

Able to read and develop single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams.

Knowledgeable in the installation and maintenance of motors, electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, PLCs, inverters, and generator sets (gensets).

Able to perform pre-commissioning checks and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
