Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking an experienced Component/Electrical Engineer to sustain and support production lines in Penang. The role emphasizes lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, ECOs, and supplier changes while collaborating with global contract manufacturers.

Qualified candidates will review schematics and PCB layouts for manufacturability, perform hands-on debugging, and maintain accurate BOM/docs within Agile PLM. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical, component, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with ECOs and supplier change notifications.
• Experience working in regulated environments (ISO 13485; IEC 60601 awareness).
• Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills using lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical component lifecycle, obsolescence, and supplier changes.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings for manufacturability and compliance.
• Support day-to-day production on the Penang production lines, including test fixtures.
• Drive controlled documentation changes and qualifications in line with QMS.
• Update manufacturing instructions, drawings, and BOMs through change control.
• Plan and execute fixture and equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ).
