Job summary

Job description

Design and develop electrical systems and components for construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate electrical infrastructure requirements and identify potential issues

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for project implementation

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution

Monitor electrical system performance and conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as required

Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement timely solutions to minimise project delays

Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standards

Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and on-site teams

Document project progress, maintain detailed records, and prepare technical reports

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors

Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, power systems, and installation practices

Proficiency in electrical design software and CAD applications

Excellent understanding of Indonesian electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination on construction sites

Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

Preferred: Experience with renewable energy systems, smart grid technology, or large-scale infrastructure projects

Preferred: Professional certifications or memberships with recognised engineering bodies
