Job summary

Elsewedy Electric Indonesia is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design HV/MV substations, prepare SLDs, schematics, and equipment layouts for power systems.

You will perform system studies, calculations, and provide technical specs, BOQs, and coordination with tendering, procurement, and site teams, including on-site support during installation, testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering design within EPC, manufacturing, or engineering consultancy.
• Proven track record in handling HV/EHV substations or heavy industrial power distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, SLD, schematics, and equipment layouts for electrical power systems and substations.
• Perform system studies and calculations, including load flow, short-circuit, earthing, and protection coordination using engineering software.
• Prepare technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and equipment sizing for HV and MV equipment.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, calculation sheets, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical alignments with tendering, procurement, and project execution teams.
• Provide engineering support during site installation, and testing & commissioning.
