Job summary

ERM in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a highly motivated EHS Consultant to advance sustainability programs for global clients. You will work on audits, ESG due diligence, decarbonization, water stewardship, and digital tools for ESG performance management, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This client-facing role emphasizes strong communication and writing skills, compliance with local and international regulations, and delivering high-quality environmental, health, and safety services

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Chemical Sciences, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in consulting, with familiarity in environmental and/or health and safety advisory services.
• Understanding of ESG and sustainability frameworks, greenhouse gas inventories, and water stewardship principles.
• Exposure to ISO Management Systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14064; advantageous.
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills; capable of collaboration within a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Sustainable Operations projects in EHS management, audits, decarbonization, and digital enablement for ESG performance management.
• Provide consultancy across industries to deliver EHS and ESG projects.
• Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring for timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Assist in ESG assessments, analyzing exposure, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support EHS audits and assessments to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Support ESG transformation projects, including developing GHG inventories, water baseline studies, and waste management studies.
• Contribute to ESG and Decarbonisation strategies aligned with client goals and industry best practices.
• Contribute to project documentation, reports, and client deliverables.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability-related data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Assist in developing data-driven recommendations and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with evolving ESG standards, frameworks, and reporting requirements.
