Job summary

Wesco Environmental Health and Safety is seeking an Analyst to outline and implement training programs on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations. You will develop educational materials, track accidents, perform facility audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong communication and data reporting skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Minimum of 2 years' EHS experience and 1 year in mining/electrical/manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational health and safety or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in mining/electrical/manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Skill in performing safety inspections ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to develop, implement, and enforce EHS programs and protocols.
• Knowledge of federal, provincial, state and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Skill in developing company specific EHS procedures and protocols.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
