Job summary

Save the Children International in Indonesia seeks an Education Specialist to lead technical quality for the TUNTAS program, aligning with national policies and DBS commitments. The role supports the Program Manager, collaborates with the Education Technical Advisor, and ensures scalable capacity building across districts.

The position focuses on preventing dropout, improving learning outcomes, and strengthening life skills delivery, EWS tools, PKBM, and youth empowerment through partnerships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; master's preferred.
• 3–5 years designing and managing education programs.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia's education system and policy environment.
• Experience coordinating with government counterparts, NGOs, and partners.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; excellent writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the TUNTAS program.
• Ensure high-quality program design, delivery, and alignment with standards.
• Integrate GEDSI, disability inclusion, climate change and child protection.
• Coordinate with partners and government to ensure timely, quality outputs.
• Support MEAL with data-informed decision making.
