Job summary

Palladium is seeking an Education Policy and Regulation Researcher to support INOVASI Phase 3 in Indonesia. The consultant will analyze policy implementation, conduct desk reviews, perform data analysis, and draft evidence-based policy briefs for Ministry partners.

The role requires at least 5 years in Indonesia’s education sector, strong climate-change and inclusive education knowledge, and collaboration with government bodies. Remote with travel across Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Indonesia's education sector.
• Strong understanding of climate change issues in education.
• Experience aligning textbooks with climate change and green education.
• Proven ability to work with Indonesian government ministries.
• Ability to work independently in a multitasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of education policies and regulations related to inclusive education, both domestically and internationally, to identify best practices and innovative approaches.
• Collaborate with government ministries to conduct policy research, synthesize findings, and translate evidence into strategic policy briefs for high-level advocacy.
• Draft policy briefs and recommendations based on pilots and research, including lessons learned.
• Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to review draft guidelines for field readiness and applicability.
• Analyse evaluation data to inform improvements in MoRA and MoECRT programs.
