Job summary

Your organization, IPEKA, seeks a Pearson Edexcel & IGCSE Programme Coordinator to lead the programme implementation, ensuring curriculum alignment, full syllabus coverage, and high academic standards across subjects.

You will coordinate assessments, moderation, and data-driven interventions, provide academic leadership to teachers, and liaise with Pearson Edexcel International, parents, and leadership to maintain quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's preferred).
• At least 3 years of teaching experience within Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge International curricula.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, academic leadership, or middle leadership.
• Strong knowledge of international curriculum implementation, assessment standards, moderation, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Pearson digital platforms (Edexcel Online and ResultsPlus) and school management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful implementation of the Pearson Edexcel programme with curriculum alignment and standards.
• Coordinate Pearson Edexcel assessments, mock exams, and internal moderation processes per regulations and timelines.
• Monitor student achievement through assessment data, predicted grades, and performance analysis; recommend targeted interventions.
• Provide academic leadership, coaching, and guidance on curriculum planning, assessment objectives, mark schemes, and moderation.
• Work with Examinations Officer and school leadership to maintain quality and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary academic liaison with Pearson Edexcel International for reviews, inspections and QA.
• Communicate with students, parents, and leadership regarding academic expectations and curriculum pathways.

• Provide academic leadership, coaching, and professional guidance to teachers on curriculum planning, assessment objectives, mark schemes, moderation, and effective instructional practices.
• Work closely with the Examinations Officer and school leadership to maintain academic quality, programme consistency, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary academic liaison with Pearson Edexcel International, supporting programme reviews, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership regarding academic expectations, curriculum pathways, and student achievement.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 3 years of teaching experience within the Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge International curriculum.
• Experience in curriculum coordination, academic leadership, or a middle leadership role is highly desirable.
