Job summary

BINA NUSANTARA invites applications for a Teaching Assistant at our Serpong campus. The role supports classroom teachers by preparing learning materials, organizing equipment, and assisting during lessons.

English is used in school communications and formal Bahasa Indonesia is used for instruction. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lessons for selected topics, assisting with field trips and laboratory activities, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Interest in education and student development.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in preparing materials for learning activities.
• Prepare equipment to support teaching activities.
• Prepare and deliver lessons for various topics.
• Assist class teacher through team teaching on parts of lessons.
• Provide substitute teaching when needed.
• Prepare and organize forms for field trips or class trips.
• Organize classroom and laboratory logbooks.
• Assist teachers with materials for laboratory sessions.
• Prepare laboratory equipment for teaching activities.
• Safeguard equipment and ensure proper usage of laboratory resources.
• Attend required meetings.
• Remind students of uniform code and school rules.
• Communicate in English in school; formal Bahasa Indonesia when teaching.
• Participate in professional sharing activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists classroom teacher in preparing materials for learning activities
• Prepares needed equipment to help the teaching activity
• Prepares and executes lessons for certain topics of subjects at certain times
• Assists Class teacher through team teaching on some parts of lesson or certain topics
• Does substitute teaching when needed
• Prepares and organizes forms (ex. Field trip or class trip forms)
• Organizes classroom and laboratory logbook.
• Assists teacher in preparing materials for various laboratory sessions.
• Prepares laboratory equipment to help in the teaching activity.
• Safeguards equipment and ensures proper usage of laboratory resources.
• Attends regular meeting/s required.
• Reminds uniform code and valid rules in the school to students.
• Communicates frequently using English in the school environment & uses formal Bahasa Indonesia when teaching.
• Participates in the professional sharing activity in the school area

Management Support Activities

• Provides Report to his/her Direct Supervisor
• Suggests improvement processes related to activities in areas of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Performs activities related to Quality Management System
• Performs additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by his/her Direct Supervisor
