BINA NUSANTARA's Binus School Semarang is seeking a dedicated teacher who plans engaging lessons and ensures materials are ready well in advance. The role emphasizes curriculum development, classroom management, and collaboration with coordinators.

You will assess student progress, report to parents, and participate in accreditation-related activities, while promoting English communication and SEL programs across the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) required.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong English communication and collaboration with coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Plan teaching materials according to schedule.
• Prepare teaching substitutions when needed.
• Consult with coordinators and grade heads to improve curriculum.
• Plan and manage resources, ensuring materials prepared one month before delivery.
• Participate in planning and documentation for accreditation.
• Assess students and communicate progress to parents.
• Prepare occasional reports on student progress.
• Encourage library use for academic activity.
• Enforce uniform policy and school rules.
• Engage in professional sharing activities.
• Communicate in English in the school environment.
• Develop programs for SEL and six pillars; manage co-curricular activities.
• Arrange programs with students and oversee competitions.
• Notify parents about status; propose improvements; complete other tasks as assigned.

Teaching excellence:

• Planning teaching material according to schedule given.
• Prepare teaching substitution when needed.
• Consult with coordinators / grade level head to improve curriculum and its delivery through innovation.
• Plans and manage resources for teaching and ensure materials are fully prepared one month before delivery.
• Participates in the planning, implementing and document arrangement needed in order to obtain or maintain accreditation.

Classroom excellence:

• Conduct assessment to the student’s learning process.
• Deliver the request from parents in preparing occasional reports regarding certain students.
• Makes reports on progress about the children learning activity.
• Campaign the necessity of using library for academic activity.
• Regularly notified uniform code and valid rules in the school
• Participate in the professional sharing activity in the school area.
• Communicate frequently using English in the school environment.

Development of six pillars and SEL:

• Initiates class or division based programs to help students grow in SEL and six pillars.
• Participate in various projects regarding the six pillars value.
• Involved and manage the co-curricular activities for students.

Student centric participation development:

• Arrange various programs with students as the main participants & contributor.
• Arrange planning and preparations for students to attend various competitions.

Other duties:

• Communicates with parents regarding the status of teaching progress as well as specific students when needed.
• Suggest improvement process related to teaching activities.
• Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Education Requirement:

• Minimum holder Bachelor ‘s Degree (S1)

Work Exposure/ Experience:

• Minimum 2 years working experience
