Job summary

Anantara Ubud Bali Resort is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the engineering team and ensure the smooth, safe performance of all hotel facilities.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, handle guest requests related to facilities, supervise staff on shift, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of safety and reliability across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Engineering team during the assigned shift.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Respond promptly to guest room, public area, and operational maintenance requests.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and other hotel systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, villas, public areas, plant rooms, and other facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and take immediate corrective action to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
• Monitor critical equipment, utilities, and plant operations, including generators, pumps, air-conditioning systems, and other major equipment.
• Ensure all work orders, maintenance activities, and shift handovers are properly recorded and followed up.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety, fire and life safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Assist in monitoring energy consumption and identifying opportunities for energy conservation.
• Maintain proper control of engineering tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials.
• Guide, coach, and support Engineering team members to maintain high standards of performance.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Management.
