Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights).
• Report any damage or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain vehicle security and protect goods during transport.
• Plan efficient routes considering traffic and travel time.
• Meet travel schedules and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when needed.
• Prepare reports on vehicle usage, travel, fuel, and costs.

Key responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely, orderly, and in accordance with traffic regulations

Transport and pick up employees, management, guests, documents, goods, or company operational needs to destinations

Ensure vehicles are in good condition, clean, safe, and ready for use

Conduct vehicle inspections before and after use, including fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights, and other vehicle conditions

Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any damage or technical issues

Maintain vehicle security and protect goods during transport

Determine effective travel routes considering traffic conditions and travel time

Comply with travel schedules and ensure passengers or goods arrive on time

Assist with loading and unloading goods when required

Complete and prepare reports on vehicle usage, travel, kilometres, fuel, and operational costs

About you

Valid driver's licence appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated

Experience as a driver is an advantage
