Job summary

The candidate will contribute to product development using fluid mechanics concepts, troubleshoot lab testing equipment, and work under supervision to meet project goals within an oil and gas context.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and six years of experience in Chemical/Engineering Technology.
• Familiar with API and FANN Lab Equipment testing for Drilling and Completion Fluids.
• Familiar with troubleshooting Lab testing equipment in lab or on-site.
• Awareness of HSE and SQ standards in Drilling Fluids Laboratory for Oil and Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, develops chemical products and processes by providing chemical/engineering analysis and testing.
• Performs data generation using basic fluid mechanics concepts to enhance product development.
• Incorporates new design techniques to achieve project goals in product development.
• Ensures HSE awareness, regulations, and quality standards are integrated into product development.
• Supports calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
