Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations, including medical histories and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose and treat common illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence and patient-specific factors, ensuring transparent communication about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Prescribe medications and medical interventions appropriately, maintaining detailed and organized medical records for each patient.
• Perform routine clinical procedures and minor surgical interventions as required within the scope of general practice.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations, health screenings, and patient education on wellness and disease prevention.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Manage patient referrals to specialists when necessary, maintaining continuity of care and follow-up communication.
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuing medical education and professional development.
• Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all Indonesian healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Analyze patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of Medical Doctor Professional Education (Profesi Dokter) from an accredited Indonesian medical school
• Valid Indonesian medical license (STR - Surat Tanda Registrasi) and current registration with the Indonesian Medical Board
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Valid ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
• Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills with the ability to analyze complex patient presentations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients
• Proficiency in medical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
