Job Description
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose and treat common illnesses and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence and patient-specific factors, ensuring transparent communication about diagnoses and treatment options
- Prescribe medications and medical interventions appropriately, maintaining detailed and organized medical records for each patient
- Perform routine clinical procedures and minor surgical interventions as required within the scope of general practice
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations, health screenings, and patient education on wellness and disease prevention
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Manage patient referrals to specialists when necessary, maintaining continuity of care and follow-up communication
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuing medical education and professional development
- Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all Indonesian healthcare regulations and ethical standards
- Analyze patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic
- Respond efficiently to urgent and emergency situations, making decisive clinical judgments when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum completion of Medical Doctor Professional Education (Profesi Dokter) from an accredited Indonesian medical school
- Valid Indonesian medical license (STR - Surat Tanda Registrasi) and current registration with the Indonesian Medical Board
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Valid ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings
- Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills with the ability to analyze complex patient presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients
- Proficiency in medical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of Indonesian healthcare system, regulations, and primary care protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple patients efficiently
- Commitment to patient-centered care and demonstrated empathy in clinical practice
- Resilience and ability to handle high‑pressure situations with composure and professionalism
