Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree with specialist Plastic Surgery qualification.
• Valid professional medical license/registration in Indonesia.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in plastic/reconstructive surgery.
• Proven expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
• Strong understanding of surgical techniques, safety protocols and OR procedures.
• Excellent communication to explain procedures clearly and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• Perform plastic and reconstructive procedures including aesthetic surgeries.
• Conduct patient consultations, assessments and pre-operative evaluations.

About the role

E Verre is seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon (Dokter Bedah Plastik) to join our healthcare team in West Jakarta. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to provide specialised surgical care within a dynamic medical environment. As a Plastic Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality aesthetic and reconstructive surgical services to our patients, whilst contributing to the advancement of surgical excellence within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including aesthetic surgeries, reconstructive operations and corrective procedures
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments and pre-operative evaluations to determine appropriate surgical approaches
• Develop individualised surgical treatment plans based on patient needs, expectations and medical history
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up consultations to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and surgical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with nursing staff, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures
• Stay current with advances in plastic and reconstructive surgery through continued professional development
• Adhere to all safety protocols, sterilisation procedures and infection control standards within the operating theatre
• Contribute to the provision of ethical and compassionate patient care that prioritises patient safety and satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery from an accredited institution
• Valid professional medical license and registration with relevant healthcare regulatory bodies in Indonesia
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery
• Demonstrated expertise in performing a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures
• Strong understanding of surgical techniques, patient safety protocols and operating theatre procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex surgical concepts to patients in a clear and compassionate manner
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying informed of current surgical advances
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail
• Strong ethical standards and a patient-centred approach to medical practice
