Bali Jobs Recruitment by Claire Tomkins is sourcing a Director of Wellness for a premier eco-luxury wellness retreat in Bali. The role leads daily wellness operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and translating the resort's wellness vision into flawless on-site execution.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in luxury wellness with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, strong P&L experience, and fluency in English. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to certify is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health Sciences, Integrative Medicine, Spa & Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications in a recognized wellness discipline are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive operational experience in luxury wellness settings, incl. 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong practitioner mindset with preventative health, longevity science, and biohacking literacy.
• Proven full departmental P&L management, yield optimization and budgeting under executive guidance.
• Experience leading multicultural teams across wellness consultations, movement, spa and guest relations.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to certify.

Responsabilidades

• Own daily on-property operational performance and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Oversee wellness pillars: consultations, diagnostics, movement studios, treatments, and lifestyle workshops.
• Coordinate with the on-site longevity clinic for diagnostics and aftercare.
• Manage guest itineraries from pre-arrival assessments to post-departure roadmaps; host VIPs.
• Lead recruitment, development, and mentorship of wellness team members.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, inventory, and retail revenues; maximize facility yield.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and international luxury hygiene standards.

Our client, an eco-luxury wellness retreat nestled in the serene landscapes of Bali, is actively seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Wellness to lead the daily operations of its wellness department, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and translate the resort's wellness vision into seamless on-the-ground execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education in Health Sciences, Integrative Medicine, Spa & Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
• Professional certifications in a recognized wellness discipline (e.g., Naturopathy, TCM, Ayurveda, CIDESCO, ITEC, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Yoga Alliance) are strongly advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive operational experience within world-class luxury wellness resorts or Forbes Five-Star/Leading Hotels of the World properties, including at least 3 years in a senior wellness leadership role.
• Strong practitioner mindset with deep literacy in preventative health, longevity science, and biohacking modalities, paired with the credibility to interface seamlessly with on-site clinical and medical specialists.
• Proven track record of full departmental P&L management, yield optimization, resource scheduling, and budget discipline under corporate or executive guidance.
• Demonstrated excellence in leading, mentoring, and developing multicultural, multidisciplinary teams across wellness consultations, movement, spa, and guest relations.
• Deep alignment with the expectations, discretion, and personalized demands of ultra-high-net-worth global wellness travelers.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; valid First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to certify upon joining) are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Own daily on-property operational performance, quality benchmarks, and guest satisfaction metrics, effectively executing group-level programming and longevity initiatives while maintaining scientific rigor.
• Exercise complete operational management across all wellness pillars—including holistic consultations, vitality diagnostics, movement studios, signature treatment facilities, and curated lifestyle workshops—ensuring smooth integration with resort operations such as wellness cuisine.
• Serve as the primary on-property liaison for the on-site longevity medical clinic, coordinating frictionless hand-offs between advanced diagnostics and tailored holistic lifestyle aftercare.
• Oversee comprehensive guest itineraries from pre-arrival health assessments to bespoke post-departure health roadmaps, personally hosting VIP and long-stay retreat guests with empathy and absolute confidentiality.
• Lead, recruit, and inspire an in-house team of wellness supervisors, consultants, specialized practitioners, and holistic therapists through continuous professional education, structured SOP training, and proactive daily mentorship.
• Oversee departmental budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and retail revenues, maximizing therapist utilization and facility yield without compromising luxury service standards.
• Enforce strict health and safety protocols, contraindication screenings, accurate evidence-based health communication, and rigorous international luxury hygiene standards across all wellness facilities.
