Banyan Group seeks an experienced Director - Engineering for Banyan Tree Escape Balak. Lead the Engineering function through pre-opening and into full operations, ensuring high standards, safety, and sustainable practices.

Collaborate with owners, project teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver a pre-opening program that meets brand standards. The role requires hands-on leadership with deep knowledge of luxury resort facilities, Indonesian regulations, and strong energy and resources

Formación

Must have bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum 8–10 years progressive engineering experience, 3+ in senior leadership within luxury hotels/resorts.
Strong pre-opening experience in construction, commissioning and handover is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of MEP systems, building management, and resort infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

Lead all Engineering functions for pre-opening and operations.
Represent the operator during construction and pre-opening phases with an operational lens.
Coordinate with project team on snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover of building systems and equipment.
Develop the pre-opening Engineering master plan including org structure, hiring, and training.
Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs and asset registers.
Oversee operation and maintenance of MEP, HVAC, water treatment, pools, power, fire/life safety.
