Job summary

Adecco is representing a leading global professional services firm seeking a Director – Advisory Services to lead the Business Restructuring Services and Corporate Finance practice. The role focuses on advising corporates, lenders, investors, and shareholders on complex restructuring, turnaround, and strategic transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related disciplines from a reputable overseas university.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Business Restructuring, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Strategic Finance.
• Prior Big Four Deals, Corporate Finance, Restructuring, or Transaction Advisory experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates from Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development / Strategic Finance within large conglomerates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong experience in restructuring, turnaround management, debt advisory, M&A transactions, fundraising, valuation, and financial modelling.
• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
• Strong network across corporates, financial institutions, investors, and market stakeholders.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional report writing, presentation, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• CFA, CPA, CA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualifications will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Business Restructuring Services and Corporate Finance engagements across a broad range of industries.
• Advise clients on business restructuring, turnaround strategies, mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, corporate finance, and strategic transactions.
• Support underperforming companies in developing turnaround plans, operational improvement initiatives, cash flow management strategies, and refinancing solutions.
• Advise lenders, creditors, and investors through independent business reviews, financial assessments, recovery planning, and performance monitoring exercises.
• Lead engagements involving debt restructuring, working capital optimization, cash flow forecasting, and stakeholder negotiations.
• Manage formal restructuring and insolvency-related engagements, including schemes of arrangement, judicial management, liquidations, and other recovery processes where applicable.
• Drive business development activities by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and generating new revenue streams.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial models, valuation analyses, restructuring plans, investment memoranda, and client reports.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to Boards, C-suite executives, lenders, shareholders, and investors.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring quality delivery across engagements.
