Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a consumer engagement specialist to handle complaints and feedback within the financial sector in Singapore. You will engage consumers, identify key issues, and coordinate empathetic responses with supervisory teams.

You will also liaise with financial institutions to ensure timely reviews and responses, and provide updates to MAS. The role may involve MoneySense education events, including webinars and public seminars.

[What the role is]

The role will involve consumer engagement work, focusing on the area of complaints handling.

[What you will be working on]

The role will involve consumer engagement work, focusing on the area of complaints handling. You will engage consumers on their complaints or feedback on financial institutions and practices in the financial industry. Besides identifying key issues raised by consumers, you will work with supervisory departments to craft clear and empathetic replies that addresses consumer concerns. You will also liaise with financial institutions to ensure that they review and reply to consumers’ feedback, and submit timely updates to MAS.

You may also be involved in financial education work, where you help out with initiatives for MoneySense, Singapore’s national financial education programme. Responsibilities include helping out at events such as webinars/seminars for the public.
