Job summary

Minor Food is seeking a Demand Planner in Indonesia to develop and maintain SKU data and forecast demand using historical data, market trends, and marketing programs. You will collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics and 3PL to balance inventory with forecasted demand, monitor stock levels, and report on KPI performance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in demand planning or supply chain, with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in demand planning or related fields.
• Proven experience in forecasting, supply chain and inventory management is required.
• Experience in F&B, manufacturing, logistics or FMCG is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU data base and demand forecasts.
• Create short-, medium-, and long-term demand plans based on data and trends.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify gaps for improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and 3PL to align inventory with demand.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts and report risks.
• Provide input for procurement planning based on forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance to incorporate promos and launches.
• Analyze usage patterns and market dynamics to refine forecasts.
• Prepare reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance and KPIs.
• Identify drivers of demand variability and propose solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data base of SKU
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecast using historical data, market trends, sales input, and marketing's program
• Create and maintain short term, medium term an long term demand plans
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify gaps to improve forecasting processes
• Work closely with procurement, warehouse team, and logistic or 3pl to ensure optimal inventory levels align with demand forecasts
• Monitor stock level & identify risks of overstocking, near expired or stockouts
• Provide input for procurement planning based on forecast demand
• Collaborate with the marketing , operation and finance teams to incorporate promotions, product launches, and market trends into demand planning
• Analyze usage patterns and market dynamics to refine demand forecast
• Prepare and present reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and demand planning KPIs
• Identify key drivers of demand variability and propose actionable solutions
• Reporting and analyze SLA of vendors and warehouse, demands trend, fulfilment and stock risk
• Performed other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

Job Specifications:

• At least bachelor’s degree in economic, information science, industrial engineering or any related fields
• Min. 3 years experience in the same position
• Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain and inventory management
• Experience in industries such as F&B, manufacturing, logistic, FMCG is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e,g., Vlookup, Hlookup, sumifs, pivot)
• Familiarity with statistical forecasting techniques & supply chain concepts
• Knowledge of standards or food safety and sanitation audits
