Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited is seeking a Security Manager to lead policy development, risk management and incident response across our Batam data center cluster.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with security systems, access control, CCTV, and vendor management in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, or related field.
• CISSP, PSP or similar certification preferred.
• Proven experience in security management, preferably in a data center or similar high-security environment.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for multiple data center buildings.
• Oversee daily security operations across all buildings in the cluster; manage staff and training.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments; develop incident response plans.
• Manage access control, CCTV, and alarm systems; monitor entry/exit points.
• Liaise with external security vendors and contractors; negotiate contracts.
• Develop and implement security training programs for staff; promote security awareness.
• Prepare security reports for senior management; maintain incident records.
• Develop and manage the security budget for the cluster.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies and implement new solutions.
