Job summary

Kredivo Group in Jakarta, Indonesia is hiring a Quality Assurance engineer to strengthen software quality across data pipelines, backend services, and platform features. You will design tests, build automation, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to embed quality into the development lifecycle from the start.

Responsibilities include creating robust test plans, automating web/mobile/backend tests, reviewing designs for quality feedback, and driving QA best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile apps.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and CS fundamentals.
• Strong testing best practices: white-box, black-box and regression testing.
• Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills for functional/non-functional quality.
• Excellent MySQL skills and scripting in Bash or Python on Linux.
• Intermediate experience writing automation suites in any language.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, Web Services, OAuth and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Travis or similar.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Team player with humility, passion and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product/design/engineering to own test plans.
• Develop and maintain automation suites for web, mobile, and backend services.
• Review PRDs and designs to provide feedback before development.
• Plan releases considering dependencies and backward compatibility.
• Coordinate with MLE/DS teams for planning and validating releases.
• Replicate production bugs on staging and assist with fixes.
• Define and implement QA best practices and processes.
• Review test cases with other QA members.
• Create test cases and estimate testing time.
• Respond to design/management requests and determine QA parameters.
• Oversee QA processes and testing procedures.
