Job summary

PT East-West Seed Indonesia is seeking a Data Science Officer to drive advanced research in plant breeding. You will analyze large-scale omics, genetics and breeding datasets using mathematical modeling, statistics and AI/ML techniques for digital phenotyping and breeding by design.

The role requires collaboration with breeders, R&D and business teams, and involves deploying models within Snowflake architectures while optimizing data input and consumption systems in Purwakarta, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, data science or related field.
• Experience with Python, NLP, and vision AI/ML.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Snowflake.
• Willing to travel and work in Purwakarta, West Java, Indonesia.

Responsibilities
