PT Karsa Omni Teknologi Adicipta is seeking an Overall Data Lead to own the vision, architecture, and execution of our growing data ecosystem in West Jakarta. You will bridge data engineering, analytics, and AI to drive decisions and ROI.

You’ll mentor engineers and data scientists, set data governance, and partner with product and executive stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science with leadership experience.
• Strong Python/SQL and cloud data stack skills.
• Experience shipping production-grade data systems and scaling teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end data strategy aligning roadmaps with business objectives.
• Lead and grow cross-functional teams of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists.
• Architect and oversee the modern data stack (cloud warehousing, ELT, orchestration, BI).
• Establish data governance, quality, and security across the org.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and executives to identify high-impact data use cases.
• Stay hands-on: review architecture, unblock complex problems, prototype AI/data features.

We’re looking for an Overall Data Lead to own the vision, architecture, and execution of our growing data ecosystem.

You won’t just manage a team or write isolated queries. You’ll bridge the gap between raw infrastructure and business intelligence, ensuring that our data engineering, analytics, and AI initiatives are aligned, scalable, and actually driving decisions. If you’ve built modern data stacks from the ground up, mentored engineers and scientists, and know how to translate executive goals into technical reality — this is your kind of challenge.

This is a hybrid role based in West Jakarta, where leadership means rolling up your sleeves as much as it means setting the direction.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and execute the end-to-end data strategy, aligning engineering, analytics, and AI roadmaps with business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists
• Architect and oversee the modern data stack (cloud warehousing, ELT pipelines, orchestration, and BI layers)
• Establish robust data governance, quality standards, and security practices across the organization
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and C‑level stakeholders to identify high‑impact data use cases
• Stay hands‑on when needed: reviewing architecture, unblocking complex technical problems, or prototyping new AI/data features
• Foster a culture of data literacy, continuous learning, and engineering excellence

Who You Are:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior mentoring role
• Deep technical foundation in Python, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern data tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Proven track record of shipping production‑grade data systems and scaling teams through growth phases
• Strong business acumen: you care about ROI, user impact, and strategic alignment, not just technical purity
• Excellent communicator, capable of translating complex data concepts for both engineers and non‑technical executives
• Fluent in English — written and spoken (Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plus)
• Bonus: Experience integrating GenAI, LLM workflows, or advanced ML models into production business processes
