Job summary

Intrepid Asia is seeking a Data Engineer to fortify our data pipelines and warehouses powering decision-making for SEA brand clients. You will work with senior data engineers and BI teams to build reliable, scalable data solutions using Google BigQuery, StarRocks, Airflow, and dbt.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with Airflow and cloud data warehouses. The role offers a fast-paced, agile environment in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on data engineering experience.
• Proven Python & SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow.
• Write and optimize SQL transformations across StarRocks and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to translate data needs into pipelines.
• Maintain data quality checks and monitor pipeline runs.
