Job summary

PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT) seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise data pipelines and infrastructure in Jakarta on a contract basis. You will translate data and business requirements into engineering processes and advise Data Analysts on data engineering tasks.

The role emphasises collaboration with the data modelling team to design and manage the Data Warehouse and Data Mart, focusing on secure, scalable data solutions for data-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies, such as Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Excellent understanding of data architecture, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in building and optimising data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translating data and business requirements into data engineering processes that match business requirements.
• Provide consultation to Data Analysts / Business Analysts related to data engineering (ingestion, export, landing, batch, etc.)
• Together with the data modeler team to design, create, manage the Data Warehouse and Data mart.
