Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Banking project in Jakarta, Indonesia. The contract role focuses on building data pipelines, ETL with Informatica, and ensuring data quality across the data warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, 1 year of data engineering experience, strong SQL, and Python or Bash scripting, plus the ability to coordinate with security, governance, and business teams. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Inf/IT or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data engineering role
• Experience in ETL/Data Integration using Informatica
• Strong understanding of Big Data ecosystem (Hive, HDFS)
• Familiar with Cloudera Machine Learning (CML)
• Strong SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting for data process automation
• Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and end-to-end data flow from source to datamart/DWH
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis for failed jobs or pipelines
• Experience creating technical documentation and SOPs (Confluence)
• Able to coordinate with business/user, security/firewall, and data governance teams
• Familiar with change management processes (NCM) in banking environment
• Willing to work onsite in Jakarta
• Available to join ASAP
