Qualifications

• 2+ years in BI, data analytics or related field.
• Degree in Information Systems, CS, Mathematics, Statistics, or related.
• Expert-level SQL; Python/R/Java/JavaScript desirable.
• Ability to mine data to explain the 'why' behind trends.
• Experience with large datasets and live dashboards.
• Familiarity with Jupyter, Hive, BigQuery ML is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Proven track record leading complex data analyses.
• Ability to deliver quality results under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using advanced query techniques and statistics.
• Create robust data querying, transformation, and visualization processes with Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, R.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards for large data sets.
• Identify reporting needs and updates with stakeholders.
• Present insights to drive fact-based decisions across the organization.
• Propose business process improvements based on data to drive impact.
• Work with management to prioritize information needs and align with goals.
• Monitor analyses to identify trends and escalate findings.
• Mentor junior BI team members and provide guidance and feedback.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all reports and dashboards.
