Job summary

Merkle in Jakarta seeks a data-driven Data Analyst to turn raw data into actionable insights. You will create dashboards and reports that inform smarter business decisions and partner with cross-functional teams to uncover growth opportunities.

The role requires at least 2 years of analytics experience, strong SQL/Excel skills, and proficiency with Tableau/Power BI/Looker. Python or R knowledge is a plus. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Basic knowledge of Python or R (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and ensure accuracy of data from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to spot patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that make insights accessible and actionable.
• Turn stakeholder questions into data-driven answers and recommendations.
• Work with data engineers, scientists, and business teams to improve processes and align with business goals.
• Track KPIs and business metrics, providing regular insights to stakeholders.
• Support special projects and deep dives requested by leadership or clients.
