Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician in Jakarta to on-site manage hardware lifecycle across our IT infrastructure. You will work with server racks, networking gear, and power systems, ensuring reliability in a high-density data center.

You will perform rack install and break-fix, troubleshoot network issues, respond to trouble tickets, participate in 24x7 shift rotations, document issues, and contribute to safety and process improvements while collaborating with a diverse

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting computer/server hardware.
• Networking knowledge including fiber troubleshooting experience and theory.
• Familiar with remote access (IPMI/BMC), network equipment installation and configuration, data center operations (inventory management, hot/cold aisles, security), power feeds, ATS, server hardware, RAID, network connectivity.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-site hardware lifecycle of IT infrastructure, including servers and networking gear.
• Rack installation and hardware break-fix; troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations.
• Meet SLAs and handle trouble tickets through directed workflows; be first line for hardware issues.
• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations and scheduled maintenance/change management.
• Contribute to documentation and root cause analysis for operational improvements.
