Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Data Center) in South Jakarta to lead the design, validation, and delivery of high‑reliability electrical infrastructure for large data center projects.

You will oversee end‑to‑end engineering work, coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors, and ensure compliance with standards and project specifications while maintaining uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design, MEP, or project delivery.
• Experience leading activities within data center or mission‑critical projects.
• Hands‑on experience delivering large‑scale data center facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HV, MV, LV, UPS, generators, grounding, surge protection, power monitoring.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, and MEP coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic projects.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system designs for data center projects, including SLD, loads, and BOQ.
• Design and validate HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers, and PDU systems.
• Ensure solutions comply with standards and regulations.
• Define end‑to‑end architectures and evaluate equipment specs for reliability.
• Review equipment and infrastructure components per project requirements.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Support construction, installation, and site execution per approved designs.
• Conduct site inspections and manage design changes during execution.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams for testing and handover.
• Prepare engineering docs and reports while ensuring quality and safety.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risks and maintain schedule.
