Job summary

SM+ is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end site construction delivery for data center projects, from mobilization through commissioning and handover. The role requires coordinating CSA/MEP packages to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

You will manage the project schedule, cost control, and safety, ensuring compliance with design and standards while driving a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years in construction and project management, with at least 5 years in mission-critical facilities.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects > USD 50 million, managing CSA and MEP packages.
• Experience with commissioning processes and handover (FAT/SAT/IST).
• Strong understanding of data center design: critical power systems, UPS, generators, cooling, IT space requirements.
• Solid grasp of project controls, contracts, and commercial management.
• Leadership and stakeholder management across multiple contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site construction activities for Data Center projects from mobilization to handover.
• Manage overall project schedule, milestones, and critical path coordination.
• Monitor expenditures, review variations, and forecast costs with value engineering.
• Establish QA/QC procedures and ITPs, manage defect resolution through FAT/SAT/IST.
• Ensure safety culture and HSE compliance; lead safety inspections and incident reviews.
• Coordinate PMC, CxA, Cost Consultants, CSA/MEP contractors, suppliers, authorities, and design consultants.
• Oversee commissioning planning and IST, and ensure smooth transition to operations.
