The role involves building BI solutions, analysing large datasets, developing segmentation and propensity models, and presenting clear business recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, data science or a related field.
• Strong consumer banking experience, especially cards portfolios.
• Proficient SQL with the ability to develop complex query logic.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL and/or SAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform business intelligence, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Analyse large consumer banking and card portfolio datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Develop portfolio segmentation based on MCC, recency, dormancy, customer personas and behavioural patterns.
• Develop and analyse propensity models including travel propensity and attrition propensity.
• Track campaign performance and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Conduct portfolio performance reviews and benchmarking analysis.
• Build and maintain database structures and analytical datasets.
• Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Support steering committee reporting and stakeholder presentations.
• Work closely with business and analytics stakeholders to address complex analytical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform business intelligence, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Analyse large consumer banking and card portfolio datasets to generate actionable insights
• Develop portfolio segmentation based on MCC, recency, dormancy, customer personas and behavioural patterns

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL and/or SAS
• Experience in segmentation, predictive modelling, benchmarking and campaign analytics
• Strong understanding of modelling approaches and model validation techniques
• Ability to work with large datasets and convert analysis into business recommendations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
