Job summary

PT WEGO MEDIKA INDONESIA is seeking a data platform engineer to build and operate ingestion systems and runtimes for analytics, data science, and AI tools. You will own pipelines from source to consumption, ensuring reliability, scalability and clear ownership across teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud platforms, plus a strong focus on data quality, observability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering or related infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate ingestion systems and runtime infrastructure for analytics, data science and AI tooling.
• Run and manage pipelines on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure with reliable release paths.
• Improve reliability and cost against service goals.
• Design retries, deduplication, backfills and data quality checks.
