Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group in Jakarta Central is seeking a Lab Analyst to perform hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid tests in accordance with SOPs. You will handle data entry, ensure timely reporting, and support doctors with accurate results.

Experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred; a D3 in Lab Analysis is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to quality and safety, and good communication with healthcare teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Perform laboratory examinations in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluids per SOPs to support diagnosis.
• Enter data and release results into the system to ensure complete and timely data.
• Prioritize reporting of critical results to doctors/nurses promptly.
• Record maintenance and preventive checks of laboratory equipment.

Job description

• Carrying out laboratory examinations related to hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluids in accordance with predetermined procedures and service standards to be used to support a doctor's diagnosis
• Carrying out hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examinations in accordance with predetermined SOPs and carrying out data entry into the system used to ensure the availability of complete and timely examination data
• Carry out data entry and data release of hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination results according to needs and requests, either using a computer or manually to ensure the availability of complete and timely examination data
• Prioritize reporting of CITO, CCU examination results and examination results related to the patient's critical condition so that they can be conveyed as quickly as possible to the doctor or nurse
• Record usage and make requests for equipment, carry out preventive maintenance activities to maintain availability, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment used in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination services
• Record and organize the storage of hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination results to maintain the completeness and availability of examination results according to the needs of doctors and patients
• Record and organize the procurement/receipt/use of hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination reagents to ensure the smoothness and continuity of related services
• Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as a responsibility to superiors
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 of Lab Analyst
• Experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in performing laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment.
• Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
