Job summary

Alila Villas Uluwatu is seeking a motivated bakery worker to assist in preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes and other bakery items in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You will follow standard recipes, maintain quality and presentation, and support daily mise en place and stock rotation.

This role requires teamwork, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. Prior bakery or kitchen experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery production and food handling techniques.
• Experience in a bakery, pastry shop or kitchen is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items.
• Prepare ingredients according to standard recipes and production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Support stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist with daily mise en place and bakery production requirements.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
