Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies Indonesia seeks a Security Engineer (Presales) to join our Jakarta team. You will design security solutions, work with sales, and solve complex customer challenges in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead technical engagements, deliver PoVs and Cyber Workshops, and present our full portfolio to protect organizations from evolving threats. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs
• Are exposed to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous
• Have a bring a customer first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations
• Have the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills
• As part of a distributed team of people, a strong sense of teamwork is required
• Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our Sales Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our customer’s cyber security needs.
• Provide insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome.
• Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
• Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Support the responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teams
• Engage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
• Active participation in cyber security events
• Keep timely update of activity reports and ensure timely communication with SE manager.
