• Maintain records of member information and account details.
• Promote gym facilities and membership packages to members.

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Gym professional to join our team in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya on a contract basis. In this role, you will be the frontline representative of our gym facility, providing exceptional customer service and support to our members. You will play a crucial part in ensuring member satisfaction, addressing inquiries and concerns, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages member loyalty and retention. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellent service and contributing to the overall success of our fitness facility.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting members in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival at the facility
• Processing membership registrations, renewals and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency
• Responding to member inquiries regarding services, facilities, class schedules and membership options
• Addressing member complaints and concerns promptly, working towards effective resolutions
• Maintaining accurate records of member information and account details
• Promoting gym facilities, services and membership packages to prospective and current members
• Assisting with facility tours and providing information about available amenities and programmes
• Managing front desk operations, including scheduling, cashier duties and administrative tasks
• Coordinating with other team members to ensure seamless member experience
• Contributing to the creation of a clean, safe and welcoming gym environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the fitness, hospitality or similar customer-facing industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Strong interpersonal abilities with a genuine passion for helping others
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations
• Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale software and member management systems
• Organisational skills and attention to detail when managing administrative tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings as required
• Physical capability to perform duties that may occasionally require standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of fitness industry practices and membership structures is advantageous
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality customer service
