Glints is seeking a Customer Service Executive - Mandarin Speaking to be onsite in Batam, Indonesia. You will be the first point of contact for parents, assisting with enquiries, program information, class arrangements, and day-to-day communication to ensure a smooth learning journey.

You will engage Mandarin-speaking families, coordinate with teachers and teams, and maintain accurate records while delivering a warm, professional customer experience in an education-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as customer service, education, hospitality, or retail.
• Strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for parents and families via phone, messaging, email, and other channels.
• Communicate clearly with Mandarin-speaking parents to provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Understand parents' needs and explain suitable programmes, classes, and learning arrangements.
• Follow up with parents on enquiries, registrations, class schedules, and trial sessions.
• Coordinate with teachers and internal teams to address questions and requests smoothly.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Handle feedback and concerns professionally, escalating as needed.
• Keep customer information and follow-up activities accurately updated.
• Support day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks related to students and families.

• Follow up with parents regarding enquiries, registrations, class schedules, trial sessions, and other arrangements.
• Coordinate closely with teachers and internal teams to ensure parents' questions and requests are handled smoothly.
• Maintain strong and positive relationships with parents and provide a high level of customer experience.
• Handle feedback, concerns, and requests professionally, escalating issues to the relevant team when necessary.
• Keep customer information and follow-up activities accurately updated.
• Support day-to-day administrative and customer service activities related to students and parents.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in Customer Service, Client Servicing, Education, Hospitality, Retail, or other customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate comfortably with parents from different backgrounds.
• Warm, patient, and service-oriented personality.
• Confident in handling enquiries, explaining information, and following up with customers.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Comfortable using messaging platforms, email, and basic office tools.
• Willing to work onsite in Batam.
• Experience working with Mandarin-speaking customers or families will be an advantage.
