Title: Customer Development Manager

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

As Customer Development Manager based in Jakarta, Indonesia, you will drive customer engagement, build strategic joint business plans, and lead sales/merchandising execution across omnichannel touchpoints to deliver superior business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep customer understanding and engagement to gain commitment for joint business plans that drive competitive advantage and superior business results.
• Effectively manage trade spending to stay within approved budgets while ensuring meaningful ROI.
• Coordinate with distributor sales force and merchandising teams to execute 5Ps, business plans, new product distribution, display plans, and promotional events with excellence.
• Deliver omnichannel and brick-and-mortar dot com growth by assessing customer 6P+A, participating in key campaigns, and driving brand exposure with buyers.
• Visit stores and monitor sales/distribution performance, utilizing analytics for fact-based conversations/negotiations and probing gaps with distributor representatives to close performance issues.
• Provide leadership and engagement to distributor and merchandising agency leadership teams to ensure clear alignment with Colgate standards and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (marketing, business, communications, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MTI account and omnichannel management.
• Proficiency in English and Google Suite products (Sheets, Docs & Slides).
• Proven ability in data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-starter capability with ability to work independently and across multi-level stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment.
