Job summary

Sinarmas Mining is seeking a CSR & External Relations Sulawesi professional on a contract basis in Southeast Sulawesi. You will build relations with local communities, government bodies and external stakeholders, and lead CSR programmes while managing communications and engagement initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in CSR/community relations, fluency in English and Indonesian, and ability to travel across Southeast Sulawesi.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate social responsibility, community relations or external affairs.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian; strong written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management with government agencies, communities and NGOs.
• Knowledge of Indonesian CSR regulatory requirements and mining context.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement CSR programmes tailored to local communities in Southeast Sulawesi.
• Manage relationships with local government, community leaders and NGOs to align development initiatives.
• Conduct community impact assessments and stakeholder consultations to identify concerns.
• Prepare communications materials, reports and presentations for external stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate CSR initiatives and collect data for continuous improvement.
• Represent Sinarmas Mining at community events and official meetings to build trust.
• Manage community grievance mechanisms and respond to concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with operations, health, safety and environment to integrate CSR goals.
• Document and report CSR activities, outcomes and lessons learned to senior management.
