Linklaters is expanding its Corporate team in Southeast Asia and seeks an enthusiastic Associate to advise corporates and financial institutions on public and private M&A, venture capital, and general corporate matters. Reporting to Partners, you will contribute to knowhow, communicate under pressure, and collaborate closely with a global team to deliver outstanding client service.

The role requires Indonesian admission (PERADI), English proficiency, and strong networking skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted in Indonesia (PERADI).
• 1-3 PQE years with PQE (UK scale).
• Bahasa Indonesia and English language skills essential.
• Experience on Indonesian transactions with a top tier firm would have an added advantage.
• Strong networking and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review documentation, demonstrate familiarity with precedents and market standards
• Provide commercial and legal advice to the client
• Network with clients to capitalize on new business opportunities
