Qualifications

• 1–3 years of helpline experience (paid or voluntary).
• Completed training in Crisis Intervention or Suicide Prevention.
• Experience with high risk crisis situations and caller safety triage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis hotline calls with confidential support.
• Conduct risk and lethality assessments for suicide cases.
• Provide evidence-based crisis counselling and de-escalation.
• Assess caller needs and triage for safety or referrals.
• Maintain accurate call reports and referrals.
• Comply with GDPR and data protection requirements.
• Support in developing crisis management plans.
