Job summary

H Cubic Design is seeking an Interior Designer to work on residential and commercial renovation projects. You will meet clients to understand requirements, preferences and budget, and provide creative and practical interior design solutions based on clients' needs.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and related software, strong space planning skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in kitchen cabinet, built-in furniture or renovation industry is an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software or other relevant design software.
• Good understanding of space planning, materials, colours and furniture layout.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, and also willing to learn new things,new software.
• Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for site visits when required

Responsibilities

• Meet and communicate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences and budget
• Provide creative and practical interior design solutions based on clients' needs
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D designs, floor plans and elevations
• Design kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV cabinets and other customised built-in furniture
• Prepare design proposals, material selections and colour combinations
• Prepare quotations and assist the sales team in presenting design proposals to clients
• Conduct site visits and site measurements when required
• Coordinate with clients, sales team, factory team and installers to ensure designs can be properly executed
• Revise designs according to clients' feedback and requirements
• Ensure drawings and design details are accurate before production
