Job summary

PT MDS Retailing Tbk in Indonesia invites applications for Head of Designer for New Initiatives Brands to lead the creative direction and product design strategy for our New Initiatives. You will define collection themes, color palettes, silhouettes, and fabrics, and drive end-to-end design from trend research through production, translating insights into commercially compelling collections.

7–10+ years in fashion design, with 3–5 years in leadership.
Proven experience launching successful fashion collections.

Responsibilities

Lead the creative direction and seasonal collection development for New Initiatives.
Define collection themes, color palettes, silhouettes, fabrics, and key design directions.
Lead the end-to-end design process from trend research and concept development through production.
Translate global and local fashion trends and consumer insights into commercially relevant collections.
Drive new product and collection development across categories and consumer segments.
Partner with Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Sourcing, Quality, Marketing, and VM for strong commercial execution.
Balance creativity with sales, gross margin, and collection performance.
Lead, coach, and develop the design team to foster a high-performance culture.
