Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of cost accounting or cost control experience, preferably in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods: job costing, process costing, and activity-based costing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Prepare comprehensive cost reports and analyses for management review, highlighting trends and recommending cost reduction opportunities

Supervise and coordinate with internal teams to gather cost data and ensure timely and accurate cost accounting entries

Lead the review and validation of cost allocations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Conduct regular cost audits to verify the accuracy of recorded expenses and identify areas for improvement

Work collaboratively with department heads and operations teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities

Mentor and support junior accounting staff involved in cost control functions

Maintain detailed documentation of cost control processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting or cost control roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, methods (such as job costing, process costing, and activity-based costing), and cost control techniques

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is advantageous
