Job description

Overview

The Cost accountant is responsible for overseeing and analysing manufacturing costs, providing accurate financial reporting, and supporting decision-making processes to improve cost efficiencies within the plastic extrusion manufacturing operations for edge banding. This role will work closely with the finance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and financial control.

Location: The position can be based in either Batam, Indonesia, or Singapore, with regular visits to the manufacturing facility in Batam.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Self-assured in decision making process.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Fluent in English oral and written.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite - SAP programme literate is a MUST.
• Degree qualified in accounting or finance.
