Job summary

PT Elle Cosmetics Indonesia is seeking a meticulous Quality Analyst to join the Quality Laboratory Fisika - Kimia, supporting sample management, testing, and recording results.

The role requires handling laboratory instruments, ensuring calibration, performing physico-chemical and microbiological tests, and documenting results in a traceable manner in line with ISO 9001, ISO 22716, CPKB, CPPKRTB and HALAL. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: a D3 in Chemical Analysis or Pharmacy, or a S1 in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Pharmacy.
• At least 1 year's experience as a QC Analyst, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceutical or similar industries.
• Understanding of CPKB (Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practice) and the Halal Product Assurance System.
• Understanding of conventional chemical and physical analysis techniques, as well as those using laboratory instruments.
• Understanding of sampling and testing methods for raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, bulk products, and finished products.
• Ability to operate laboratory instruments such as pH metres, moisture analysers, and other laboratory equipment.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and data processing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• The ability to carry out microbiological testing is an advantage.
• Meticulous, disciplined, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Readiness to join immediately is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory instruments and ensure equipment is in good working order before use.
• Carry out routine inspections, verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment in accordance with the schedule.
• Ensure the calibration and verification status of measuring instruments before use.
• Take samples of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products in accordance with established specifications.
• Carry out physico-chemical and microbiological tests in accordance with established specifications.
• Carry out product stability testing in accordance with established protocols and schedules.
• Record all test results completely, accurately and in a traceable manner.
• Maintain and ensure the availability of laboratory documents and records under one’s responsibility.
• Evaluate test results against established specifications, and immediately report Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), or abnormal results to the Technical Manager.
• Assist in the investigation of OOS/OOT incidents and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Provide technical support to the QA, Production, R&D and related departments regarding quality testing.
• Ensure that all testing activities are carried out in accordance with procedures and in line with the principles of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, CPKB, CPPKRTB and HALAL, as per applicable regulations.
